Watch: UP Cabinet Approves Interim Relief For Mob Lynching Victims

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major decision in order to address the issue of mob-lynching in the state. It decided to provide interim compensation to victims of rape, mob lynching, and other such crimes. The Yogi cabinet has stamped over the proposal which will allow District Magistrates to provide 25 percent interim compensation to the victim or victim's family.
