Amid talks with BJP over seat-sharing for Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said he had promised to late Bal Thackeray to make a Shiv Sainik the chief minister of state. “I will fulfil the promise I made to my father Bal Thackeray of making a Shiv Sainik (party worker) the chief minister of Maharashtra,” he said.
