There are so many mysterious myths attached with centuries-old Hindu religion. News Nation brings a special show on Varadharaja Perumal Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Interestingly, the main idol of lord Vishnu has been put underwater for 40 years which is called ‘Jal Samadhi’. The idol, made of wood, was preserved underwater in a secret chamber. It is brought out for worship once every 40 years for 48 days. Watch the interesting story.
