World Bicycle Day: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu flags off Bicycle Rally in Delhi

In an environment-friendly step, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Sunday organised a mega cycling event in the heart of national capital. The decision was taken after the United Nations recently declared June 3 as the World Bicycle Day. On the occasion of the first World Bicycle Day, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has flagged off the Bicycle Rally and NDMC's Smart Cycle Station for Public Bike Sharing in Delhi. The unique event, which was also attended by Miss World Manushi Chillar, witnessed participation from thousands of cyclists.
