Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, enemies for over two decades, came together after 24 years during a joint rally of the SP-BSP-RLD alliance in Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri on Friday. Mayawati will seek votes for foe-turned-friend SP patriarch, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Mainpuri, a Samajwadi Party bastion. The joint rally began at Christian College Ground in Mainpuri.
