Congress CEC meet underway, final decision on alliance with AAP likely

The wait of the Congress candidates for tickets for the Lok Sabha election in 5 states, including, Delhi, Haryana and Uttarakhand will be ended today. The Central Election Committee (CEC) meet, chaired by Congress president Rahul Gandhi, held in Delhi. The fate of AAP-Congress alliance will be decided in the meet. Delhi poll in-charge PC Chacko hinted AAP-Congress tie up saying the chapter is not closed. “Opinions are divided on this, it is not easy to change the opinion. But party’s working committee believes that like-minded parties should be on-board. The alliance with AAP would be in the interest of party,†said Chacko.
