Election Commission takes action against politicians after SC nudge

Following the Supreme Court nudge on Monday, the poll panel took action against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and Union Minister Maneka Gandhi. The Supreme Court on Tuesday will hear the PIL on hatred remarks during polls. The Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and also comprising Justice Sanjiv Khanna are looking into the matter.
