While addressing a press conference after the Congress debacle, party president Rahul Gandhi congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying hope, he would care of the interest of the nation. Meanwhile, according to reports, he has tendered his resignation from the post of party president to UPA president Sonia Gandhi. Meanwhile, as per early trends, the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is leading in 341 seats, while the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) on 88 and others on 113.
