Government built 5 lakh pucca houses in Assam: PM Modi

While addressing a poll rally in Assam’s Dibrugarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was able to provide 5 lakh pucca houses in Assam by the blessing of people in the state. Earlier, PM Modi has begun his election campaign in the northeastern states, starting from Arunachal Pradesh. Only 40% of households in Assam got power connections till 2014 but in 5 years of BJP rule, the percentage has touched 85%, he added.
