Heat wave: Gujarat government issues 'Orange alert' as mercury rises

In the month of April itself, the temperature seems to have attained the maxima. It is also speculated that monsoon too will not be good this time. In Gujarat, the roads have started melting and summer appears to break all its previous record. The Meteorological Department has issued warning of intense heat wave in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The Gujarat government has issued 'Orange alert' for the next two days as mercury rises in several parts on the state.
