Speaking to New Nation, BJP leader Uma Bharti said that contesting the polls does not decide whether one is a big leader or not. “Murli Manohar Joshi is a big leader irrespective he contests Lok Sabha polls or not,†she said while answering a question whether the era of Atal-Advani-Joshed ended. “I decided not to contest during Ganga campaign and I will return in 2024,†the BJP leader said.
