LS Poll: BJP hits back at Navjot Sidhu over his 'Kale Angrez' jibe
Cricket and politics have always attracted eyeballs in the country. The festivity of cricket is at peak with Indian Premier League giving doses of entertainment. News Nation brings a special show, 'Indian Political League' in which political developments of the day are presented with the flavour of cricket. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday termed Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s comments where he likened Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a "bride who pretends to work†as sexist and racist. Earlier, Sidhu had quoted a controversy saying, “PM Modi is like that bride who makes less rotis but makes more noise so that the neighbourhood knows she is working.†The BJP also hit out at Navjot Singh Sidhu for another controversial request to people to vote 'kale angrez' out of power.
