Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. He made a veiled attack at Congress over the promise of Universal Basic Income. “The decision to give economically weaker sections 10% reservation was also taken by us,†said PM Modi. "People who couldn't open bank accounts are now saying that they will directly transfer money to the poor, what will they possibly do?" asks the PM Modi.
