Polls 2019: Naidu meets Sonia, Rahul to consolidate Opposition

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi discussing the anti-BJP front. Earlier, he called on Rahul Gandhi which was his second meeting within 24 hours in Delhi. He also met Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, days ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha verdict on May 23. The meetings seem to be an effort by the opposition parties to put together a coalition to form the next government at the Centre.
