Sushil Kumar Shinde, who was among Congress senior leaders who lost to BJP's Sharad Bansode by about 1.5 lakh votes, said that he won’t fight any election in future. “It was unexpected results. People of India gave opportunity to Narendra Modi to develop India. We too made effort but did not work. Our fight was against communalism,†he said. Meanwhile, a bitterly fought marathon elections, lasted over 38 days ended with historical victory of Narendra Modi-led NDA.
