The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE) was enacted on 4 August 2009, but even after nine years, the situation in the education sector hasn't changed much. Government schools in India still struggle when it comes to drop out rates, skilled teachers and good facilities.
