Nation Agenda: Pulse price hike - a challenge for government!

The continuous rise in prices of commodities like pulses, food articles, cereals, wheat and other items, has become a major concern. Government blames it on delayed monsoon. However, the government can keep an eye on raging prices, with the help of Price monitoring cell of Department of Consumer Affairs, Department of Expenditure and also Cabinet committee on prices, etc., before the prices soar up to sky. Though, no government could answer this so far.
