Nation Reporter: The BJP government is all set to bring strict laws into action for those people who are involved in data leak. The punishment for the data breaching can raise from five years to seven years. The government will soon bring the laws into the act. Although there are strict laws under the Cyber Security Act, these laws are not enough. India is a country which spends the least on cybersecurity, which means that the government needs to increase its budget to bring in the special laws.
