Nation Reporter: My in-laws harassed me, says woman who threw her son from staircase in Delhi

A woman, booked for attempted culpable homicide after her husband accused her of throwing their two-and-half-year-old child from the staircase in south-east Delhi’s Pul Prahladpur area, on Wednesday claimed she did it in a fit of rage as her in-laws kept troubling her. She joined the probe and was questioned in connection with the matter while the child was produced before Child Welfare Committee which handed over the custody of child to his maternal uncle, said a senior police officer.
