Nation View: Counter allegations by government and opposition over note ban

Since the November 8 announcement of demonetisation, there has been a whirlwind of debate over the issue that note ban is right or wrong. In one such instance, PM Modi during a Parivartan rally in Kanpur launched an attack on the opposition and said that Govt wants to scrap black money and opposition wants to shut Parliament. While in a Jan Akrosh rally in Jaunpur, Congress VP Rahul Gandhi attacked the government, PM Modi and said that the decision of demonetisation is against 99 per cent population of the country.
