Nation View: Kolkata high court raps Mamata Banerjee over idol immersion ban order

The Kolkata High Court on Thursday slammed West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over the idol immersion ban order saying the state can not hinder the rights of a citizen to practice religion on mere assumptions of law and order crisis. "Let them (Hindus and Muslims) live in harmony, do not create a line between them," Acting Chief Justice Rakesh Tiwary said.
