Passenger plane crashes at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal

At least 50 people are feared dead after a passenger plane from Bangladesh’s US-Bangla Airlines with 71 passengers on-board crash-landed at Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at Kathmandu. As per initial reports, the plane caught fire after it overshot on the runway and crashed into a football ground near the airport while landing. Following the plane crash, authorities have closed the Tribhuvan International Airport.
