News Nation Bureau 07 June 2016, 10:19 PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi got a rousing welcome in US. The US returned over 200 cultural artifacts estimated at USD100 million to India at a ceremony here attended by PM Modi. Items returned included religious statues, bronzes and terra cotta pieces, some dating back 2,000 years, looted from some of India’s most treasured religious sites. Modi began his US visit by paying tributes at the Arlington National Cemetery. He met Sunita Williams and Kalpana Chawla’s family. The visit will also help India's entry to NSG.
