Zero Hour | Article 35-A: Kashmir, Chenab valley observe strike for second day
News Nation Bureau 07 August 2018, 12:18 AM
Life in Kashmir and Chenab valley remained affected on Monday for the second consecutive day due to a shutdown called by separatists against the legal challenge in the Supreme Court on the validity of Article 35-A. Stone-pelting incidents were reported from some places, with six people getting injured in Kulgam district in a clash between protesters and security forces. The Supreme Court, however, has deferred Monday's hearing citing absence of one out of three judges on the bench.
