Athlete Deepa Malik speaks about her ‘tough’ but glorious journey

Paralympics silver medallist Deepa Malik, who was nominated for the country's highest sporting honour -- the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, thanked the government for facilitating to specially-abled athletes. The name of 48-year-old Deepa had secured a silver in the shot put F53 category in the 2016 Rio Paralympics. In an exclusive interview to News Nation, she said it is good to see the government doesn’t differentiate between medals. Watch a candid chat with Malik.
