The most awaited selection for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 took place on Monday. The selection committee finalised the final 15 players at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. Vijay Shankar, who has shown maturity and intent in the last few games he played, has been included in the 15-member squad. The 33-year-old Karthik got the nod ahead of the 21-year-old Pant despite an indifferent IPL campaign with the Kolkata Knight Riders.
