News Nation Bureau 20 July 2019, 10:47 AM
International Cricket Council has changed some rules of rules. Now the captains will not be suspended for slow over-rate. As per new rules, ICC will now deduct "competition points" and fine the whole team instead of only punishing the captains in a bid to reduce the instances of slow over-rate. Secondly, ICC will allow replacement in case of injuries. To quote the ICC, "The player should be a like-for-like replacement who will need to be approved by the Match Referee."
