India eliminated 37 years of pain by winning the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne by 137 runs as they retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in style. Fans at the MCG were in a joyous mood and many wanted Virat Kohlil to seal the series in style in Sydney.
