News Nation Exclusive: Table Tennis player and gold-medalist Manika Batra spoke to News Nation in an exclusive interview. Batra, who won a first ever women's singles table tennis gold for India at the Commonwealth Games, blanking Yu Mengyu of Singapore 4-0 in the final, had also paired up with veteran Mouma Das to win the country's maiden women's double silver. Batra created history by becoming the first Indian woman table tennis player to win a singles gold at the Commonwealth Games. World No. 58 Batra's dream run in the quadrennial event continued as she blanked 50th-ranked Mengyu of Singapore 4-0 in a one-sided final.
