Rahul Dravid, the former captain of the Indian cricket team and currently the President of NCA, has been made the new coach of Team India. Although its possibility was already being expressed, but now it has been formally announced. He will take charge after the T20 World Cup. Team India is currently coached by Ravi Shastri, his tenure is ending after the World Cup and it was already believed that he is no longer interested in becoming the coach for the second time. Earlier, when Team India toured Sri Lanka for One Day and T20 series, Rahul Dravid was made the head coach. Now he will be a full time coach.
