Shubman Gill had announced himself on the world stage when he blasted 372 runs in five games during the Under-19 World Cup. Gill's contributions, combined with the magnificent batting and leadership of Prithvi Shaw helped India win the Under-19 World Cup for the fourth time when they defeated Australia in the final. A year later, Gill has entered the history books during the unofficial 'Test' between India A and West Indies A held in Trinidad and Tobago.
