Watch: India fights back in 2nd Test against Australia in Bangaluru
Team India on 3rd day of second Test against Australia came back strongly. First Jadeja wrapping things early for Australia took 6 wickets and didn't let visitors put a big lead. Australia was minimized to a mere 87 runs lead but these extra runs would have troubled India if the team showed similar to first innings intent . But fortunately, indian openers started well and were looking comfortable till the time lunch declared. After lunch Hazlewood provided visitors a much needed breakthrough by sending Mukund back to pavilion. In-form KL Rahul was looking good and scored his 1st second innings fifty before departing on 51. Captain Kohli failed again while promoted Jadeja could not sustain for a longer time and was also bowled by Hazlewood. Pujara, who was settled down by time Rahane comes to bat and was playing carefully. Both Pujara and Rahane played with ease and didn't gave another chance to Australian bowlers and hosts took hosts out of pressure situation. At the time of stumps Pujara was playing on 79* and Rahane on 40*.
