Will Pakistan receive help from the IMF?

Pakistan is seeking help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), with senior finance officials set to present the option to Imran Khan soon after he takes office. Earlier, since 1980 Pakistan has 12 times sought help from the IMF. GDP in Pakistan is also sinking. Pakistan recently has also been put on the grey list by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for failing to curb anti-terror funding despite its diplomatic hard work to prevent the verdict. The United States has cautioned IMF not to sanction any loans to Pakistan till terror activities in the country are completely stopped.
