Jain monk case: Vishal Daldlani vows to quit politics after a rap from boss Kejriwal

Music director and composer Vishal Dadlani on Saturday stirred a controversy with his tweet by referring to a Jain seer who addressed Haryana Assembly as 'naked monk', in which he said politics and religion should not be mixed.

Moments after the tweet appeared from his account, he was ridiculed by several Jain sect followers. He soon realised the seriousness of the matter and issued public apology.

Dadlani also urged everyone to not mix religion and politics. Delhi Chief Minister was also amongst the ones who slammed Dadlani for making such remark.

Delhi minister Satyender Jain also apologised on Dadlani's behalf:

Following the outrage, Vishal Dadlani announced that he is quitting from all active political work and affiliations.

A twitter user has also filed an online complaint against Mr Dadlani into the matter.
