Japanese tech-giant Sony has launched its new headphones MDR-1000X in India which comprises the all new active noise-cancelling feature.

The bluetooth-enabled headphones gives user the convinience to connect smartphones and other devices wirelessly. The noise cancellation feature excels the listening experience to provide clear output. Reportedly the new MDR-1000X will be sold at a handy price of Rs. 30,990 in the country.

MDR-1000X will face stiff competition in the market from Bose's QC35, which presently is the best available noise-cancellation headset with Bluetooth facility.

The new headphones also encompasses adavanced function of Personal NC Optimiser, which helps in analysising the shape of the user's head and also scrutnize the way it is worn to ensure minimum noise-cancellation. The Quick Attention Mode helps user to adjust the volume by just placing a hand on the touch-sensative panel. The in-built DSEE HX upscaling in the gadget is said to be iproving the sound quality on compressed audio files while converting it to a high-resolution audio level. MDR-1000X also has an Ambient Sound mode which enables the user to reduce the volume conviniently which makes it easier to hear sounds around the ambience.

Sony claims that the MDR-1000X lasts for 20-hours while using with active noise-cancellation and Bluetooth. In other specifications, it matches the high resolution standards of the catagory with 40mm drivers and a frequency response range of 4-40,000Hz. It also features NFC which makes connection to source devices easier.

MDR-1000X comes along with an airline adapter, a cable for wired connectivity and a leather pouch in box.

Earlier in 2016, Sony had launched an another wireless noise-cancellation headphone MDR-100ABN in India at an attractive price of Rs. 21,990. Now with unveiling a more expensive option in form of MDR-1000X, Sony is looking to enhance its product range in the premium catagory.
