Home Ministry of India on Friday decided to build a wall along the porous border with Pakistan in four Indian states, sources said. The news came after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh met the state home ministers of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir in Jaisalmer.

According to sources, India has decided to build a high tech wall along the vulnerable zones on India-Pakistan border. The new wall will be equipped with laser technology and detection system to record and accordingly prosecute any infiltration bids or undue movement along the border. 

The wall will be built within 10 months and will be designed on the lines of Israel border walls.
