Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan has no intention to fight terrorism. Rajnath Singh while addressing Regional Editors Conference, in Chandigarh, talked tough on Pakistan and said, "If Pakistan is serious about fighting terror then we are ready to help them eradicate terror, but their intention is not that."

Commenting on the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, after the Uri attack and the surgical strike by the Indian Army, the Home Minister said, "Pakistan is desperate that's why they are violating seize fire several times. And I cannot disclose my strategy to stop Pakistan but we are committed to take all precautionary steps". 

"We thought that there will be strike back from Pakistan and that's why we took precautions and evacuate village of Punjab's border areas. I suggested Punjab CM to take precautionary steps," he added.
