New Delhi:

Ousted Samajwadi Party leader Ramgopal Yadav on Tuesday accused several party members, including party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, of being jealous of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Speaking to media after meeting UP land development minister Jagdish Sonkar in Ghaziabad for 45 minutes on Tuesday morning, Ramgopal came out as more confident players in the high voltage drama as he claimed that he cannot be expelled from the Samajwadi Party by anyone other than the national president himself.

On Sunday, Shivpal Yadav had expelled Ramgopal Yadav after the former was removed from the cabinet post by UP CM Akhilesh Yadav the same morning.

Further sharpening his attack on Amar Singh and Shivpal Yadav, Ramgopal alleged that the duo was responsible for SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Supreme Court debacle.

“Akhilesh will leave on November 3 for rath yatra and I will follow him. I will support Akhilesh’s bid to become chief minister,” said Ramgopal Yadav.
