New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi on Tuesday reached a bank in Gandhinagar to exchange her money and withdraw cash.

The 90-year-old Baa, as she is affectionately known, came to the bank with Narendra Modi’s younger brother Pankaj Modi and his wife.

At the bank, Heeraben withdrew Rs 4,500, availing the newly increased limit of withdrawal from bank counter.

Since Nov 8, PM Modi has been consistently asking the nation to stand by him for a period of 50 days to make the process of demonetisation of old currency notes successful.
