India’s badminton star and Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu added another feather in her cap by winning the China Open on Sunday.
She played majestically to defeat Chinese star Sun Yu 21-11, 17-21, 21-11 to clinch her first Super Series title.
Sindhu looked determined throughout the match and played some sharp shots to maintain dominance over her opponent.
The shuttler has been in sublime form since winning the silver medal at the Rio Olympics and has gone on to prove her mettle on the international stage.
Further, by winning the prestigious tournament, she has etched her name amongs all time greats of Indian badminton.
