New Delhi:

All thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's November 8 decision of banning Rs 500, and Rs 100 bank notes that the term 'demonetisation' has become the top trending and the most talked about word in the country.

People are still split about whether they should support or oppose the decision which was taken by the Prime Minister to end the menace of black money in the country.

But all the arguments for and against demonetisation aside, everyone may agree on the fact that its implementation has caused the common man a wave of inconvenience.

The crackdown on the shadow economy has brought large parts of the Indian economy to a virtual standstill.

The bulk of posts related to demonetisation started coming on people's WhatsApp number, on Twitter and their Facebook accounts immediately after the Government's November 8announcement by the prime minister. And the trend continues even 17 days after the decision.

In the series of funny and witty posts on social media, advertising executive Sanjay Sipahimalani on Friday posted 13 tweets comparing the changing rules after demonetisation decision by re-imagining them as in-flight announcements.

He tweeted in-flight announcements as if they were being made in the style of changing rules on demonetisation since its announcement by the Narendra Modi Government on November 8.
