The government is keeping strong vigil on the cash deposits post demonetisation. To keep black money in check, the government has issued an e-mail address which can be used by people to apprise government about block money possessions.
The e-mail id for sharing information with the government is blackmoneyinfo@incometax.gov.in
As well, the government also announced that unaccounted cash can be declared under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana and by paying 50 per cent tax. The scheme will be notified on Saturday and will be available till March 31, 2017.
"We want people to join PM Garib Kalyan Yojana and through this scheme they contribute to welfare of the people," Revenue Secy, Hasmukh Adhia said.
