Kareena and husband Saif Ali Khan are blessed with a baby boy. Kareena gave birth to the baby at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital at 7.30am on Tuesday morning. Both the mother and the baby are said to be doing fine.
"We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016.
"We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection," Saif and Kareena said in a statement.
Director Karan johar took to twitter to congratulate Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif, he also revealed baby's name on Twitter.

While it is the first child for the 36-year-old actress, Saif already has two kids Sara and Ibrahim with ex-wife AmritaSingh.
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has earlier rubbished reports of his wife and Bollywood actress Kareena undergoing a sex determination test for their baby. Gossip mills have been abuzz that Kareena and Saif secretly went on to take the gender test of their unborn child and that they plan to have the baby in London.
However, Saif in a statement sought to put all the rumours to rest and said, “I want to let everyone know that we have not yet had our child and we still don’t know the sex of the child. We will not be having our child in London and the name of the child will definitely not be called Saifeena.”
It was in July this year when Saif announced that the couple is expecting their first child in December.
Saif, son of late legendary cricketer Tiger Pataudi and noted actress Sharmila Tagore, tied the knot with the “Ki & Ka” actress in October 2012 after a five-year courtship.The 46-year-old actor was earlier married to actress Amrita Singh and has two children—daughter Sara and son Ibrahim.
