Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday reacted on the Samajwadi Party’s candidate list. Akhilesh has sacked Vice Chairman of Awas Vikas Parisad Surabhi Shukla.
Surabhi’s husband Sandip Shukla is believed to be close of Shivpal Yadav. Sandip has also been given the ticket from Sultanpur. Stung by the decision to drop his close aides from the list of candidates CM Akhilesh has called a meeting of his supporters today at 11 AM.
Sources claim that Akhilesh has said that all those who have been denied tickets should continue with preparation to contest.
Earlier, in a clear snub to Akhilesh Yadav, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday announced candidates for 325 of the 403 Uttar Pradesh Assembly seats, ignoring his son’s objections to certain names, and ruled out alliance with any party for the upcoming polls.
