The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah is set to Chattisgarh on Friday, a BJP spokesperson said. Apart from attending several scheduled events, Amit Shah will address a meeting of BJP workers and leaders in Raipur.

The saffron party president is also scheduled to visit Shadani Darbar, a religious place for the Sindhi community in Raipur.

State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party is excited over the visit of party’s National President Amit Shah to Raipur for a day, said State BJP president Dharamalal Kaushik.

Amit Shah will also fix target for the party to win a minimum of 65 seats as targeted in the ’65 Plus Mission’ as he is set to interact with ground level party workers for the Mission 2018.

Shah is also slated to participate in the ‘Shakti Kendra Workers’ Convention at Dumartarai. He will then inaugurate the brand new auditorium in the party’s State headquarters in Kushabhau Thakre premises.

State assembly elections are slated for the year-end in the state and Shah’s visit now will only strengthen party’s chances in the assembly elections.

Shah’s visit is also significant as it comes a day following Bahujan Samaj Part (BSP) announced its alliance with former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi’s party – Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (JCC).
