The BJP on Friday released its manifesto for the February 8 Delhi Assembly Elections 2020. Named "Sankalp Patra", the manifesto of the BJP was released by Union Minister for Road and Transport Nitin Gadkari, party's Delhi unit chief Manoj Tiwari and other senior leaders. Addressing a press conference, Gadkari said that if the BJP is elected to power in the "heart of the country", they will ensure clean air and water.
The BJP manifesto also includes promises of better connectivity, women safety, housing, transgenders, sports facilities, and regularisation of illegal colonies. The BJP claimed that they consulted 11 lakh people before making the manifesto. Taking a dig at the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP's free water and electricity schemes, Gadkari said that giving few things freewill not shape the future of Delhi, it will require better planning.
