Delhi Assembly Elections: The Congress on Tuesday released its third list of five candidates for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections. The biggest name in the list is former Rajya Sabha member Parvez Hashmi who has been given ticket from the Okhla constituency. The party has fielded Mohinder Chaudhary from the Mehrauli assembly seat, Parveen Rana from Bijwasan and Jai Prakash Panwar from the Madipur (SC) seat. Former Congress MLA Mukesh Sharma is the party's nominee from the Vikaspuri seat. The Congress has announced names of 66 candidates so far for the election to the 70-member Delhi assembly. It has left four seats for its ally RJD.

The Congress had on Monday released a list of seven more candidates for the Delhi Assembly polls, fielding Romesh Sabharwal from New Delhi seat against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.The party has already released a list of 54 candidates on Saturday. Apart from Sabharwal, the other candidates in the list are Raminder Singh Bamrah from Tilak Nagar seat, Rocky Tuseed from Rajinder Nagar, Pramod Kumar Yadav from Badarpur, Amareesh Goutham from Kondli (SC) seat, Bhisham Sharma from Ghonda and Arbind Singh from Karawal Nagar seat.

Polling in the Delhi assembly election will be held on February 8 and the results will be declared on February 11.
