Delhi Assembly Elections 2020 - Shalimar Bagh Constituency: Shalimar Bagh Vidhan Sabha constituency is an important seat out of the 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi. It is part of the Chandani Chowk Lok Sabha constituency which is made up of Adarsh Nagar, Shalimar Bagh, Shakur Basti, Tri Nagar, Wazirpur, Model Town, Sadar Bazar, Chandani Chowk, Matia Mahal and Ballimaran. In 1993, BJP's Sahib Singh Verma represented the seat and later became the chief minister of Delhi. BJP has won the seat four times with Ravindra Nath Bansal making a hat-trick from 1998 to 2008. The seat has been won by Bandana Kumari of AAP in 2013 and 2015 assembly elections.
