Counting of the votes for the Delhi Assembly elections 2020 began at 8 AM. As per the latest trends, AAP is leading on 7 seats. On the other hand BJP is leading on 3 seats. According to the Election Commission, the final turnout for the Delhi Assembly election was 62.59 per cent, with male turnout figures at 62.62 per cent and female voter turnout 62.55 per cent. Delhi witnessed a three-cornered contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. According to the exit polls conducted by several agencies, Arvind Kejriwal is set to return as Delhi Chief Minister and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will virtually sweep the assembly elections. Talking specifically about the North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, it consists of 10 Vidhan Sabha segments or seats including Karawal Nagar, Ghonda, Seelampur, Seemapuri, Burari, Timarpur, Mustafabad, Rohtas Nagar, Gokalpur, and Babarpur. AAP's Rajendra Pal Gautam wins Seemapuri Assembly seat. Rajendra Pal Gautam defeated LJP's Santlal Chawaria by a huge margin of 56,108 votes. 








AAP's Haji Yunus wins Mustafabad Assembly seat. Haji Yunus defeated BJP's Jagdish Pradhan by a margin of 20,704 votes.

In the Rohtas Nagar Assembly seat, AAP's Sarita Singh is pitted against BJP's Jitendra Mahajan and Congress' Vipin Sharma.

In the Mustafabad Assembly seat, AAP's Haji Yunus is pitted against BJP's Jagdish Pradhan and Congress' Ali Mehndi.

In the Timarpur Assembly seat, AAP's Dilip Pandey is pitted against BJP's Surendra Singh Bittu and Congress' Amar Lata Sangwan.

In the Burari Assembly seat, AAP's Sanjeev Jha is pitted against JDU's Shailendra Kumar and RJD's  Pramod Tyagi.
