The AAP won nine out of 10 seats in the North East Delhi (Lok Sabha constituency) in the Delhi Assembly elections on Tuesday. On the other hand, the BJP settled with only 1 seat. According to the Election Commission, the final turnout for the Delhi Assembly election was 62.59 per cent, with male turnout figures at 62.62 per cent and female voter turnout 62.55 per cent. Delhi witnessed a three-cornered contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. According to the exit polls conducted by several agencies, Arvind Kejriwal was set to return as Delhi Chief Minister and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would virtually sweep the assembly elections. The North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency consists of 10 Vidhan Sabha seats, including Rohini, Narela, Rithala, Mundka, Mangolpuri, Kirari, Bawana, Nangloi Jat, Badli, and Sultanpur Majra.
